Flour browned dry in the pan, fried almonds and toasted sesame ground in, bound with honey and smen, served heaped in a cone.
Ingredients
- 500 gflour
- 250 galmonds
- 200 gsesame seeds
- 1 tbspground anise and cinnamon
- 200 ghoney
- 150 gmelted butter or smen
- 80 gpowdered sugar
Method

Toast the flour dry in a wide pan, stirring, until tan and nutty — do not rush it.

Fry the almonds and toast the sesame; grind most, keep some whole.

Mix flour, ground nuts, spices, and sugar, then bind with warm honey and butter.

Pile into a cone, decorate with whole almonds, and serve by the spoon.
