- 300 grice
- 200 gbrown lentils
- 200 gsmall macaroni
- 150 gcooked chickpeas
- 4 onions, sliced thin
- 500 mltomato passata
- 4 clovesgarlic
- 3 tbspvinegar
- 1 tspcumin and chili flakes
- to tasteoil for frying

Fry the onions until crisp and mahogany; save the oil.

Cook lentils and rice together in the onion oil; boil the pasta separately.

Make the sauce: garlic, tomato, chili, and a splash of vinegar, simmered thick.

Make the dakka: crushed garlic, cumin, and vinegar loosened with hot water.

Layer rice-lentils, pasta, chickpeas, sauce, and a crown of onions. Dakka over everything.
